Currently watching series 3 of Dexter, as we speak.
It's an amazing series (again) without much press over here. Go grab it from your favourite source asap.
However, every episode I find it slightly creepy that I find myself agreeing with some of his sentiments, especially those regarding the human condition in general - and certain qualities/ideas he has regarding solitude....
(For those not in the know, he's a serial killer)

Have to agree. Dexter is pure genius. Series one was probably the best new drama we'd seen in a while. It's clever, engaging, intriguing and funny. The casting and cinematography is spot on too. The second series felt a little weaker to me though still excellent viewing. Season three is back on top form with an inspired special guest and plotline. 'FX' is showing season three in the UK now.
I also have to agree that it can feel a little uncomfortable to be cheering for Dexter when he is by turns a very likeable, if damaged, hero and also a cold blooded serial killer.
